For several years, I have been working as an undercover admin for my dad. He’s too busy and I’m efficient. Despite Despite work and studies, I always try to make time to fulfill whatever is necessary, then make time to find out what I can do to outsource these jobs cheaply.
In that journey, I found Coda.io. It is Excel, but online, with buttons (to put it simply). It has the capabilty to communicate with other applications such as Shopify, Zoom, Google, and get relevant info from these personal data sources, effectively turning Coda into a one-stop app, 75% of the time (It’s not perfect of course. When I first discovered it, it was still in its infancy and I debated Notion too. Eventually, the reason i settled on Coda, despite its lack of decorative elements, was the formulae capabilities. I could automate calculations and data entry. And that was the most mundane part of the job. I could also use code on mobile, effectively turning the database into a no-code app available to shared users.
As I started on a new administrative journey for another company, I (yet again) tried to find available softwares and methods that would enable the mundane jobs to be automated so that i could focus on more sparkly things. I of course, suggested Coda.io, and was approved. Then I realised, the one difference between this ‘client’ is their heavy usage of Google, and I haven’t had the chance to explore this yet. that’s when I stumbled upon *Appsheet*.
To date, I have created 2 functioning ‘no-code’ apps on Appsheet, and I am ccurrently creating the third one. The main objective of these apps are to:
..to be continued. I will share more about the apps I created, and more into the features and functions.
